This laser has the largest spot size of any diode laser.
Making it ideal for large areas such as back, arms, chest, stomach, etc.
With the high power density, the laser can administer bursts of
joules much faster than the alma soprano ice and therefore
cause less pain in the precise shot mode.
The higher the power of the laser the more joules it administers
into the skin and the less pain it causes. Also these diodes
are made by coherent lasers and not a factory in china.
The theory behind using all three wavelengths simultaneously is
when the laser is produced the light goes through the medulla of
the hair shaft, down to the bottom of the bulb and bulge area.
The idea is to coagulate the melanin next to the stems cells
through that hair. The alex (755) and the diode(810) both are used
to that effect. The 1064 laser wavelength comes in to play at the
very bottom of the bulb of the hair because it has a much higher
rate of absorption by hemoglobin. Using this wavelength we can heat
up the capillaries and vessels that feed the bulb and collapse them.
The below diagram will help you understand how hair grows:
So using both diode and alexandrite wavelengths we have a better
possibility to damage those stem cells in the bulge and the bulb areas.
And to take out the chances of hair growing back and even staying around
at all we use the 1064 yag to penetrate into the lowest level, damaging
any darker hair colors and the vessels that can help regenerate the hair after it is destroyed.
All three wavelengths in one laser can finally deliver
the efficacy and results your patients expect.
